iMac Retina 5K is the latest offering from Apple.

The all-new Retina 5K display has 14.7 million pixels — four times as many as the standard 27-inch iMac. So this awesome for photographs and text is incredibly sharp.

 

A trip to the apple store to test the iMac retina 5K was worthwhile. Navigating to youtube to view a few 4K videos confirmed the capabalities of the device. The videos played flawlessly and were a joy to watch.  I do not have the need for this type of hardware especially at the price of the iMac retina 5K (ouch).I am sure if you put together a decent enough PC with a highend GPU and a 4K monitor it will beat the iMac hands down
